Kim Skeen is an Emmy Award winning investigative producer for Sinclair Broadcast Group's national Sunday morning news program Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson. Prior to joining Sinclair, she produced investigative reports for CBS News, ABC News and CNN. As a staff producer working for The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, CBS This Morning, CBS Sunday Morning and The Early Show, Kim developed investigative reports on insurance scams, fraud schemes, government waste, law enforcement corruption, consumer safety issues and questionable charity spending. In 2013, she produced an investigative series on the business of lobbying Congress that won a News and Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. That same year, she produced the lead story for a CBS Sunday Morning team entry that won a Daytime Emmy Award.
Kim's work has also exposed government missteps in handling the terrorist attack on the US mission in Benghazi, the rollout of HealthCare.gov, the BP oil spill investigation and the care of animals at the National Zoo.
She was an Emmy nominated investigative producer at ABC News for six years contributing to Primetime Thursday, 20/20, World News Tonight with Peter Jennings and working with Senior Correspondent Chris Wallace producing reports on one of the nation's largest medical insurance scams, inadequate security for stinger missiles, the transfer of U.S. missile technology to the Chinese, Nazi war criminals taking refuge in Australia, heroin use on Wall Street, wasteful IRS spending, cyber terrorism threats, consumer scams victimizing the elderly and unhealthy conditions in school lunch programs.
Kim founded her own production company Ivy Media, LLC and produced investigative reports for CNN's Paula Zahn Now.
She has also served as a reporter and anchor for stations including: WJLA-TV, WMAR-TV, WFMY-TV and WJBF-TV in Augusta, Georgia.
