Daniel Steinberger is the Chief Governmental Investigative Producer at Full Measure.
Prior to joining the show, Daniel worked for ABC News in their Washington Bureau where he most recently covered and produced stories about the transportation sector and the federal agencies for all ABC News platforms including Good Morning America and World News Tonight. Before moving to that beat, he covered government waste of tax dollars where he developed and produced World News’ Washington Watchdog series. Several of his stories were honored with the prestigious Barone Award from the Radio & Television Correspondents’ Association. During his nearly eight years at ABC News, Daniel also contributed to ABC’s coverage of politics and other major domestic news stories. His work has been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards, and a duPont Award.
Prior to his time at ABC News in Washington, Daniel was a bureau producer for CBS News based in Atlanta. He traveled throughout the United States producing breaking news and feature stories for the CBS Evening News and The Early Show. His time at CBS included spending many weeks covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the recovery of New Orleans.
Before his role at CBS, Daniel worked for Primetime Live on ABC working on a wide range of long form and investigative stories.
Daniel is a graduate of the University of Michigan and enjoys sports, hiking, sailing, and traveling.
