Mark Orchard

      Mark Orchard is the Senior Broadcast Producer of Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson.

      Prior to joining the show, Mark held a succession of senior posts with Aljazeera in Washington DC. He worked on the successful launches of both the Aljazeera English and Aljazeera America channels; led the busy national newsroom for Aljazeera English, and was an Executive Producer on the award-winning nightly Aljazeera America show America Tonight.

      Prior to his time at Aljazeera, Mark spent ten years with the BBC, working as a Senior Producer in a variety of overseas posts including: London, Paris, Johannesburg, Los Angeles and Washington DC. In his time with the BBC, Mark covered major world events including conflicts, natural disasters and major political and social upheavals.

      Mark is a keen student of American politics and he's covered every U.S. election since 1996. He was a traveling member of the White House press corps during President George W. Bush's first term.

      Mark attended University College London where he read Philosophy. After university, he spent two years learning broadcast journalism as a trainee with ITN. On completing his training, he became an on-air reporter before deciding to continue his television career behind the camera as a producer.
